Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo’s financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company’s investment portfolios. About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst.

This position will be focused on supporting the Consumer Lending Technology team while partnering with the Technology and Business Finance teams to deliver best in class financial support.

The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives as part of a technical professional in the field
• Provide a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standards
• Contribute to large scale planning such as research in support of management decision making for a business unit
• Research key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
• Perform work on significant and unique issues involving data and evaluation or highly complex situations
• Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
• Lead team to meet the implementation of complex projects impacting one or more lines of business
• Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, analytics, strategy, consulting, accounting, or similar functions.
• Advanced quantitative analytical skills – ability to draw insights and actions from large datasets, which lead to actionable strategies utilizing advanced excel, analytical/financial modeling and reporting skills
• Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
• Leverage technology, including tools such as Essbase, Alteryx, Power BI, Apptio and Tableau
• Ability to be organized, strategically focused, detail oriented, proactive and work with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment
• Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
• Excellent problem solving ability combined with impeccable business judgment.
• Experience performing financial and ad hoc analyses using advanced Excel functionality and providing recommendations based on results to senior management for strategic decision-making
• Ability to directly partner with Senior Leaders, key stakeholders, and business partners to provide analytical and strategic business decision support
• Creative curiosity in search and application of data and new problem solving techniques
