Wellington Professional Recruitment Looking for Graduate Structural Engineer at Belfast, County Antrim Full Time

As a Graduate Structural Engineer you will be given the opportunity to play an important role within the Structural engineering team on the delivery of Design solutions on a portfolio of prestigious Civil and Building Projects.

Established for over 50 years, our client is a local Architectural, Civil & Structural engineering consultancy based in Belfast who have grown to become one of the largest independent practices in Northern Ireland. Due to an increasing workload they are wishing to appoint high calibre, motivated and enthusiastic structural engineer who is keen to contribute to the delivery of a range of structural engineering projects from key landmark local developments to prestigious and innovative schemes across Ireland and UK for both private clients and public bodies.

As a Structural Engineer you be involved at the heart of the delivery of integrated design. Career progression is at the core for our client and as such they will fully support membership and progression to becoming chartered, while offering a competitive salary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing conceptual, schematic and detailed design solutions for various elements of structural engineering work.
• Liaising and co-ordinating with other design team members, both in-house and/or external consultants.
• Attending design team meetings and client liaison meetings as appropriate.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawing lists, programmes, specifications and progress reports using Microsoft Office software.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Applicants must have a Degree in a related discipline such as Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Previous experience and strong AutoCAD skills are highly desirable.
• Revit experience is preferred but is not essential, full training will be given.
• Masterseries for Steel and Concrete Frame Design is used within the practice, full training will be given.
