Wellington Professional Recruitment Looking for Clerk of Works / Site Supervisor – Water at Belfast, County Antrim Full Time

Opportunity for a Clerk of Works / Site Supervisor reviewing, advising and supervising Water Rehabilitation projects. Due to on-going contract awards, our Global Clients have a requirement for Clerk of Works / Site Supervisors to join their Belfast team and supervise water projects throughout NI.

To be considered as a Clerk of Works / Site Supervisor, you should be able to demonstrate previous experience in either the supervision of clean water, water main rehabilitation, upgrades etc… This is an immediate requirement so early application is advisable.

As Clerk of Works / Site Supervisor you will:

• Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with the project specification and construction drawings and quality standards are maintained through regular quality inspections.
• Ensuring a consistently high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental practices are maintained through regular inspections.
• Maintaining a site diary recording site activities including details of daily weather, labour on site and plant on site.
• Charting actual site progress against the construction programme.
• Raising any project concerns with the Project Manager.

As Site Supervisor / Clerk of Works your experience should include:

• At least 3 to 5 years post experience with industry experience on-site supervision / construction on water engineering projects.
• A Third level qualification in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of watermains and site works.
• Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
• A current and valid CSR / CSCS card, other training etc can be provided.

You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to act within a team at all times.
