The Wellesley Community Children’s Center (WCCC) After School Program seeks qualified teachers to join its team for the 2022-23 school year!
Founded in 1971, WCCC’s After School Program operates six sites within the Wellesley Public Schools and has traditionally enrolled more than 300 children each year. With our emergent curriculum model, we create innovative, dynamic, safe and nurturing site communities where children thrive.

Employment offers are contingent on successful passing of a MA Background Records Check (CORI, SORI, DCF, and Fingerprinting). WCCC requires all staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including obtaining any recommended additional doses or “boosters”) as well as MMR.

Our ideal candidate is ambitious, creative, caring, and passionate, with professional experience working with elementary school-aged children. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, providing general program supervision, creating and implementing activities, and guiding and supporting children in their development of interpersonal skills. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team is a must.
