WelleCo Hiring for Social Media Assistant at Cremorne, Victoria, Australia Full Time

You are passionate about creating engaging and high quality content that has the potential to go VIRAL,  as well as having a keen eye for creating the most aesthetic Instagram feed. 

Role Overview:

As WelleCo’s Social Media Assistant, you will into our Social Media Manager and will play a key role in supporting our digital marketing efforts and engaging our target audience on social media. You will work closely with the marketing team to create and execute compelling content that aligns with our brand’s mission and values. This position offers a valuable opportunity to start and grow your career in organic social media, content creation, and community engagement with a renowned global beauty and wellness brand. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation & Social Media Execution:

• Develop creative and engaging content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, UGC-style videos and graphics, including captions. 
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute content ideas that align with brand guidelines and target audience interests.
• Research industry trends and stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends to ensure relevant and timely content creation.

2.. Community Management & Engagement 

• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive brand image, across various platforms. 
• Engage with our online community by actively participating in conversation and initiating discussions to foster brand loyalty.
• Assist with influencer relations including proactive and reactive communications and product send outs. 

3. Campaign Support:

• Assist the Social Media Manager in the planning, execution, and tracking of social media campaigns to promote new product launches, events, and brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless integration of social media content with other marketing channels.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current enrolment in a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, etc.) or recent graduate (ideal, but not necessary) 
• 6 months – 12 months experience within the social media industry.
• Strong passion for health and beauty trends, with a good understanding of the industry.
• Proficient in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools and editing software
• Experience in social media management platforms. (Ideal but not necessary)
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity, initiative, and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving social media trends.
• Positive attitude, team player, and a desire to contribute to the success of our brand.
