Interim Talent Acquisition Specialist – Plymouth / Remote – £40-45,000

Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a high profile, nationally operating, marketing business who urgently seek to recruit an experience Talent Acquisition Specialist, initially for an interim period of 3-6 months, but with strong potential for conversion to a permanent contract. This is a full time position which will be remotely operated on a day-to-day basis, but will require a degree of travel to the employer’s UK wide offices. Please note that the successful candidate must be based within a reasonably commutable range of Plymouth.

The business has grown exponentially and sourcing experienced colleagues to facilitate this has been difficult. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this is a crucial, newly created role where the successful candidate will manage the full life cycle of the recruitment process. This means taking full management of vacancy advertisements and promotions, sourcing and screening candidates, and developing robust recruitment plans and strategies. Key responsibilities to include:

• Develop string networks and partnerships to develop a database of experienced candidates

– Develop relationships with key service providers – job boards, LinkedIn premium accounts, external recruitment businesses etc.

• 1st line CV screening and recommendations

• Ensure a high quality candidate experience

• Regular collaboration with HR to develop recruitment strategy and project delivery

For this role we’re seeking an experienced candidate with a t least three year of recently gained experience in a talent acquisition capacity. The successful candidate should have a solid grounding in sourcing and attracting often hard-to-find skill sets using traditional and modern tools – LinkedIn Recruiter, social media and recruitment databases. Applicants will ideally have experience of working within a large, national business (experience of recruiting for a global/US business would be highly advantageous). A strong understanding of recruitment principles, applicable laws, and general procedures essential, as will be the use of modern technology tools and applicant tracking systems.

By its very nature the role will call for a confident, persuasive, and professional individual who is motivated by success. The role interacts with colleagues throughout the business as well as prospective candidates so exceptional communication skills will be a pre-requisite.
