Welcome Homes is changing the way people buy homes, and we want you to help build Welcome! We are a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building new homes that are purchased online, customized, and delivered in six months at an incredible value.

We are looking for a skilled Front-End Software Engineer to work within our Rails stack to build various marketing and sales landing pages as well as maintain our marketing app. You’ll need to be proficient in HTML/CSS/JS including experience in Tailwind. You’ll also be expected to take mockups and translate them into exact coded replicas.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working within our Web Development team to take desktop/responsive mockups and create polished front end experiences.

• Writing clean, consolidated and scalable CSS and Javascript

• Keeping up to date on front end tools that can benefit the usability of our online user experience.

• Produce work fast and efficiently to meet company goals and deadlines

What you’ll need:

• Proficiency in Tailwind

• Proficiency within the Ruby on Rails stack

• Extensive knowledge of an MVC framework

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS & Javascript/Jquery

• Visual ability to translate mocks to replica HTML pages without the need for exact CSS characteristics

• A desire to meet best practice guidelines

• Experience meeting tight deadlines

• Bonus: experience in Stimulus

Bonus: Ruby on Rails experience or a similar backend language

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
