Not many organisations have that special something that makes them different to the rest, but we do and as Talent Acquisition Specialist for Welcome Break, that makes your job that little bit easier. You will be recruiting for roles that give candidates the opportunity to work with all these fantastic brands in roles across IT, Finance, Marketing, Commercial and Developments.

This role reports directly to the Head of Talent and Resourcing and works alongside the Resourcing Manager for Operations as well as the wider people team at Welcome Break.

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist

• Build high-level relationships with our key stakeholders
• Proactively work with recruiting line managers to understand headhunting opportunities and proactive talent attraction.
• Ensure your “talent scout” mindset influences and challenges all recruiting managers to think and act like this too
• Proactively build and continually manage your talent pool of candidates for Head Office.
• Work with managers to ensure they understand and are fully engaged with talent identification and succession activities and processes
• Review all candidates, interviews with recruiting line managers and PBP / Head of Talent / People Director as appropriate
• Arrange all candidate interviews and recruitment event invitations
• Ensure all unsuccessful candidates receive the appropriate communication within the agreed SLA timescales
• Coordinate & facilitate Assessment Days or recruitment events (where appropriate) to ensure quality and required volume of candidate attendance
• Management and integrity of the Applicant Tracking System should be maintained at all times ( SAP SuccessFactors)
• Provide honest, measured, and constructive feedback to unsuccessful candidates (external) where required

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge for the Talent Acquisition Specialist

• Strong executive / senior Recruitment / Resourcing background as in-house / Internal recruiter
• Experience in working directly with senior management teams, Head office, and operational and driving effective performance in all areas
• Experience in conducting effective assessment and interviewing techniques and/or has a background in occupational psychology/testing
• Understands how the elements of a reward package combine to attract, engage, and retain people
• Understands the perspectives and needs of different groups of employees, EBIB.

You may also have experience as Recruitment Business Partner, Senior Internal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Resourcing Business Partner etc
