Welch Sign Hiring for Account Manager Full Time

Job Summary:

Account Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of their dedicated accounts. This includes fulfilling orders, managing smaller projects, identifying, and winning new opportunities, and assisting in Pursuit Partnerships when necessary. Account Managers are the main point of contact on their accounts and are responsible for ensuring client needs are understood, met, and satisfied while maximizing account portfolio profitability. Account Managers check in regularly with their accounts and are responsible for increasing revenue through various methods. They work directly with customers to create custom signage solutions, while collaborating with internal team members. This is a customer facing role that requires the ability to follow process, communicate clearly and complete projects on time and budget.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to all incoming communication from their dedicated accounts via phone and email
• Establish signage needs and ensure projects meet code requirements
• Confirm product delivery or installation
• Process new orders from start to finish
• Identify new opportunities within dedicated accounts
• Maintain accurate contacts
• Monitor portfolio revenue on an ongoing basis to meet or exceed goals
• Cross and upsell products
• Monitor fulfillment of all dedicated account orders
• Close new opportunities independently and as part of a team
• Ensure billing is accurate and timely
• Maintain accurate discount rates per account
• Update and maintain accounts in Salesforce and ShopVox
• Engage in Pursuit Partnerships as requested
• Communicate order updates to the customer
• Problem-solve if errors arise during design, fabrication, or installation
• Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing and regular communication
• Visit building/construction sites for surveys as needed
• Complete bids and proposals for construction projects as needed
• Complete other assignments or tasks that pertain to dedicated accounts as needed

Education and Experience:

Degree in Project Management or Construction Management preferred, but not required

2+ years of construction, manufacturing or sign industry experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
