Talent and People Manager

As our firm continues to grow and evolve we are seeking to add a Talent and People Manager. This newly created role will help Weiss & Company attract, develop and retain top talent.
The Talent and People Manager will work with firm leadership to enhance, develop and execute recruiting processes (Campus and Experienced Talent Acquisition, On Boarding, etc), while playing a lead role in employee relations, performance management, and retention initiatives.
This role can be “hybrid” based on business needs with both In-Office and WFH components.
Job Duties:
·Partner with senior business leaders to spearhead and execute initiatives in the following areas: Campus Recruiting, Internship Program, Experienced Talent Acquisition, On Boarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Talent Development.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on a range of topics, including but not limited to strategic recruitment, talent retention, team-building, and organizational change initiatives.
· Develop management reports, present on key measurables, provide education and training around key Talent initiatives.
· Other duties and initiatives as identified.
Requirements
· 6+ years of human capital experience is required, including familiarity and skill with matters related to recruiting, employee relations, and performance management.
· Experience providing strategic advice to managers and other business stakeholders on key human capital topics is essential, as is the ability to exercise the utmost discretion while working with confidential information.
· Prior experience in a professional services environment preferred.
· Candidates should possess excellent project management and advisory skills, sound judgment, and a client-focused approach.
Other Necessary Skills
· The ability to draw on prior experience, industry knowledge and business judgment to serve as a subject matter expert.
· Innovative mindset, the ability to visualize and execute on plans, and provide change leadership where necessary.
· Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel. Ability to conceptualize and create management reporting.
· Ability to understand, create and implement KPI’s
· Ability to work collaboratively with Firm Leadership, Partners, Admin Staff, and Operational Leads.
· Ability to grow in the role, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
