Weir Minerals Hiring for Project Development Engineer at Queensland, Australia Full Time

Onsite – Coolum Beach, QLD

Purpose of Role:

Engage new customers and support existing customer relationships through design, pitching and selling of innovative dewatering and fluid transfer pumping solutions for our Weir Minerals APAC region customers.

This role is the perfect mixture of office based technical solutions engineering and coordination of in field customer (end user and EPCM customers) support and training visits through the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achievement of Dewatering Business Unit and Sales team KPI’s (financial and nonfinancial).
• Maintain supportive client relationships and work within internal departments to complete and submit tender requirements.
• Identify and act upon opportunities which support the business’ growth strategy.
• Manage multiple projects and effectively prioritise them
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• Proven onsite experience in mining and minerals in an Engineering or Project Management role
• Hydraulic drive system knowledge and experience preferrable
• Design /engineering experience with electrical drive systems highly desired
• Detail oriented personality with solid documentation and ing skills
• High Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
