Purpose of Role: The Weir Technical Centre (WTC) delivers innovative and sustainable solutions to the mining and minerals industry globally. The services focus on providing test work and use results, data and process knowledge for conceptual design of process and slurry handling solutions incorporating products from within and external to the Weir Minerals portfolio.The WTC Engineer will provide support to daily operations at the site and play an integral role in meeting client technical needs. The primary focus is on equipment for mineral slurries including, but not limited to, hydrocyclones, centrifugal and positive displacement slurry pumps, pipeline transportation, mixers, thickeners, decanter centrifuges, filter press and other equipment. This supports Weir’s drive for integrated solutions.
