Business Need/Purpose of Role:
The Senior Operations Recruiter, will be an integral part of sourcing talent for our Operations team in North America. In partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, HR Business Partners and Business Leaders, the Senior Recruiter will proactively build pipelines for all roles Operational hourly and salary roles. They will be responsible for developing recruiting strategies to identify a diverse group of qualified candidates for open and planned roles for all manufacturing operations in North America.

The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of talent acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with Business Leaders, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners.
Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities:
Utilize proactive, creative and cost-effective recruitment methods to attract and source a diverse pool of candidates, including leveraging online recruiting resources, social media, ATS, local and community organizations, college partnerships and driving teammate referrals
Meet with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to get a deeper understanding of the requirements, the function, and how the role fits with the team and organization
Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine applicable fit for current or future opportunities
Shortlist qualified candidates in partnership with Recruiters and HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers
Consistently drive applicants to apply for open roles using our ATS (Workday) and manage workflow on time to ensure a smooth recruiting process
Utilize ATS to proactively build talent pools for high frequency and high valued skills
Be committed to delivering an exceptional candidate and manager experience through timely communication and follow up
Be a committed and visible advocate for our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
Act as a Weir ESCO Ambassador in the internal and external markets, engaging important networks and associations.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Extensive experience in recruiting and sourcing for Manufacturing or Industrial environments to include both hourly and salaried roles
Expert in utilizing external sources such as search engines, job boards, social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify candidates; Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter experience are an advantage
Excellent engagement skills as an experienced business partner across wide range of stakeholders;
The curiosity to engage with both active and passive candidates;
Expert in writing appealing candidate centric job descriptions and messaging
A team player who is pro-active and creative in advising and executing resourcing strategies
Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States
