Weed Me Inc. Hiring for QA Assistant at Pickering, ON Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

I. Meet with and/or interview staff to author and edit SOPs in clear and concise language

II. Aides in implementation of QMS and compliance with GPP/GMP standards, including: sanitation, manufacturing, processing, packaging, labeling, shipping

III. Maintain document control, create and maintain excel databases

IV. Create user documentation for a variety of material, including forms, work instructions, SOPs, flow charts and other work aids

V. Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the lay person

VI. Review and approve GMP documents (batch records, stability reports and other related documents)

VII. Initiate and prepare deviation reports

VIII. Close attention to deadlines, detail, and quality of workmanship.

IX. Aide in performing internal audits of processes and quality systems

X. Communicate non-compliance to department stakeholders

XI. Performs QA monitoring in all areas of manufacturing processes and communicates results to respective area stakeholders

XII. Provides support to ensure compliance of Change Control System, Complaints System, Deviations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA)

XIII. Issue on-boarding training to new employees (full-time and temporary)

XIV. Receive Cannabis product shipments

XV. Verify Cannabis product shipments prior to shipping to Provincial Boards

XVI. Perform room turnover cleaning verification

XVII. Testing production equipment and surfaces with ATP swabs for cleaning verification

XVIII. Entering product data into label ordering sheet

XIX. Verifying data in label ordering sheet

XX. Reviewing and verifying final product labels prior to printing

XXI. Initiate training for supervisors and other personnel when new revisions of SOPs or forms are coming into effect

XXII. Other job duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Food or Biological Sciences preferred) is an asset
• 1+ years’ experience in a quality assurance or quality control role
• Must be flexible with hours (possible hours needed on weekends)
• Experience in GMP facility or food manufacturing facility is preferred
• Detail oriented and self-directed in execution of tasks required
• Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
