An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Accountancy Team in our Finance department.
We are looking for someone who is committed to personal and professional development and we will support you in this by providing the opportunity to undertake appropriate training and development.
What will you be doing?

• Providing financial business support for the Council’s Housing Revenue Account (HRA).
• Assisting with producing management accounts, budget & Medium Term Financial Strategy, along with final accounts, revenue & capital costings, option appraisals and business cases.

What do you need?

• Experience of analysing information and drawing conclusions
• Knowledge and interest in working in a financial environment
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload
• Can demonstrate good interpersonal skills and communicate effectively in person & writing
• Demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional development
• GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or equivalent, along with excellent ICT skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Association of Accounting Technician qualification would be desirable
• Some experience of computerised financial information systems
