WEA Hiring for Project Education Coordinator Job at Bristol, England Full Time

The Project Education Coordinator will be the face of the Shared Stories, The 3 C`s Project (Confidence, Creativity, Community) project, liaising and working with partners and the local community to create and manage participants` routes through the project. The post holder will ensure all participants are given individually tailored journeys and are regularly supported to ensure their targets are on course, realistic and manageable.

By creating good working relationships and communication between partners, the post holder will enable the best and most appropriate opportunities for our participants. This will, in turn, maintain a high profile with stakeholders and keep a high level of engagement.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract due to start in March 2022

You will be expected to represent the WEA and promote both the Association, the project and the value of adult education in their area and the UK.
Key areas of responsibilityService Delivery:

• To be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of the WECA contract at the WEA
• To recruit, and conduct in depth clients` needs assessments including those experiencing complex barriers to work.
• To counsel participants to develop work habits/skills in preparation for and during work placements and education
• To keep track, oversee and document clients` progress.
• To undertake project development, in conjunction with the Project Manager
• To represent and promote the WECA project as appropriate, at relevant forums, events and other platforms.
• To liaise alongside with and develop links to external agencies, including; local employers, Jobcentre Plus, Housing Benefit, Benefits Agency, local councils and other relevant statutory and voluntary organisations to support the effective recruitment to and running of the Routes project.

Administration:

• To ensure appropriate manual and computerised administrative systems are maintained to meet reporting and monitoring requirements of the project.
• To administer the training needs of participants.
• To co-produce a quarterly and annual report.
• To maintain a strong social media presence for the programme including contributing to a programme website and Facebook
• Have excellent digital skills

General:

• To promote excellence in all aspects of programme design and delivery, enabling and empowering participants to strive for and believe that personal excellence is a realistic and attainable achievement.
• To publicise and promote WECA opportunities internally and with external organisations, attending team, local and regional meetings as appropriate.
• To develop a close network of communications, co-operation, joint projects and skills exchange with other agencies in the community.
• To undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade and character of the work as may reasonably be required.

About you:

You will be an effective communicator and have strong organisational and time-management skills.

You will be experienced in working with a variety of stakeholders, developing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, specifically in delivering learning-related activity.

You will be experienced in data analysis/presentation, to be able to deliver reports regarding requirements to meet learning needs across the area.
