Volunteers play a central role in everything we do, from governance through to classroom support, helping us deliver courses to 50,000 people in 2,300 locations – and enabling us to reach 80% of the population.

This roles will support the project team with aspects of administration, data collection, monitoring and reporting to ensure the effective delivery of contracts on behalf of a Combined Authority. As part of these tasks the Education Support Assistant will be expected to support student recruitment via promotion and advertisement of the courses and provide advice and guidance to students where appropriate.

About you:
Empowering people from all walks of life is what we are all about, so we are keen to hear from people in disadvantaged or underrepresented groups. Whatever your background, you will need a degree level education plus teaching and assessor qualifications, alongside extensive experience of developing tutors, co-ordinating diverse stakeholders and building voluntary or membership organisations. Equally importantly, you should be exceptionally organised and methodical, with great communication skills and you will be ready to make your mark from day one.
