WEA Hiring for Education Coordinator – National Job at Remote Full Time

The Education Coordinator – National will be responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of the online education provision with a focus on outstanding student experience. You will work to an agreed work plan as part of the National team, you will support and manager Tutors whilst working with regional colleagues to deliver outstanding education provision across the curriculum.

You will have responsibility for creating strong links with regional colleagues to develop and promote the National offer, whilst identifying potential business development opportunities in line with the WEA`s strategic objectives – You should have the ability to bring these opportunities to life through design and delivery.

As an Education Coordinator for the National team, you will be responsible for developing, managing and organising online education provision in line with the WEA`s aspirations for students and in compliance with the Associations quality and target monitoring and reporting requirements. You will manage, monitor and report on the programme quality with reference to curriculum and quality improvement plans and WEA quality framework as necessary.

You will participate in networking events and develop strong relationships with stakeholders, whilst identifying potential new opportunities for developing provision, including funding for new work.

Responsible for managing a team of Tutors, including observations of Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA`s), Tutor performance management, Tutor recruitment and Tutor training and development.

About you:

As a National Education Coordinator, you should have:

• A recognised teaching qualification;
• Experience of managing and developing Tutors to achieve quality outcomes for students;
• Experience of working with a range of stakeholders, developing relationships and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes;
• Effective communication skills;
• Strong organisational and IT skills to support teaching and learning and organisation of provision;
• Ability to support, mentor and coach individuals in order that they can reach their potential.
