About the opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and fresh-minded students to join our six-week intern program! You will have the opportunity to gain exposure within the corporate, consumer, technology and health sectors. You will need to complete a six-week internship, giving you the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-world practice. Through this internship program, you will be rotated across all our teams to ensure you gain valuable experiences across all facets of our business.

The program revolves around introduction to all facets of our agency, client projects, professional training, personal development, and coaching sessions – and most importantly working alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry!

The internship will start from September 5 to October 12, 2023. You must be available during this period to be eligible.

We are open to accepting candidates to complete their internship from either our Sydney or Melbourne-based office.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for students with an interest in PR who have a can-do attitude, a desire to earn and a willingness to try new things. To be eligible you must be:

• Second or last-year university students currently pursuing their degree in communications, marketing, arts, health, science media or commerce
• Be a confident communicator
• Be a social media savvy
• Proficient with Microsoft suites such as Outlook, PowerPoint, word, Excel…

Responsibility:

The program is designed to work closely with all teams in an entry-level role, and will gain exposure to the below:

• Assist in client projects during the intern program (duties would include the below)
• Assist with analysis of data to determine insights across a campaign (e.g digital channels of execution, media angles)
• Gain exposure in assisting in the development of content across traditional and digital channels, including social media posts, media releases, media lists and opinion editorials.
• Contributing to communications strategies and planning, including participating in brainstorming; undertaking research and situation analyses.
• Participating in team meetings
• Learning how to complete media monitoring, updating trackers and drafting summaries of media coverage for clients.
• Learning digital keyword analysis (SEO and SEM) and influencer program support
• Assisting in conducting research on the latest trends
• Learn how to analyze data on audiences from a variety of sources such as research s, white papers, survey data, and social listening tools.
