We Are Social Hiring for Paid Media Specialist at Redfern, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We’re looking for an aspiring digital marketer with experience in paid social, looking to advance their knowledge, expertise and career in paid media. As part of the paid media team, you will work closely with the paid media director within the Strategy, Insights & Media department. Working collaboratively to deliver insight driven paid strategies, this is a vital role in a growing team that will lead a portfolio of clients and drive impact.

Based locally in Sydney, but working more broadly across the Asia Pacific region, at We Are Social, you will get exposure to a global network, work together with a diverse team, and gain experience across a range of industries. The client base offers the opportunity to work across a range of social platforms and campaign objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Paid media brief responses
• Liaising with the Client Services team to respond to paid media briefs
• Giving recommendations an informed approach and KPIs through robust rationale and paid social best-practice
• Creating media plans for clients and managing budget forecasts
• Execution of media plans
• Implementing of approved media plans
• managing campaigns end-to-end through setup, optimisation, billing and ing
• Internal tracking/ing for all clients and media budgets within your remit
• Partner with internal departments
• Providing recommendations to creative teams, as well as strategic recommendations for clients, to improve performance across a range of metrics.
• Ensure an integrated approach to creative & paid media
• Analyse and make recommendations to creative teams, as well as strategic recommendations for clients, to improve performance across a range of metrics
• Developing insight-driven s for clients using a combination of analytics tools

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years experience managing paid social campaigns is a must. Bonus points for experience with campaigns that have over performed AND campaigns that have underperformed
• Experience across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok preferred
• Accountability for your clients, campaigns and budgets
• Collaborative mentality, able to both provide support and ask for it
• A interest in social media and paid media, and a desire to learn about where the industry is headed (with opinions of your own)
• You have current Australian working rights and you currently based in Sydney.
