Waverley Council Hiring for Family Day Care Administration Officer Job at Sydney Full Time

• $50,198 to $57,728 (gross) per annum, plus superannuation
• Permanent Part-Time, 28 hours per week

Our early childhood services are community focused and well established. Since the 1970s, Council has had a strong and unique involvement in services for children and families. Council runs high quality services including four Early Education Centres, a Family Day Care Service, and a Family Support Program.

Waverley Council is currently looking for an Administration Officer to support our Family Day Care service. The position will involve:

• Oversee Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payment system (Harmony Web), including the accurate and timely processing of fees.
• Provide reception for FDC families including enquiries about care, referral to relevant services and the waiting list.
• Provide enrolment interviews to families.
• Promote open and positive communication with families and FDC educators.
• Assist the Coordinator in the preparation of newsletters, formatting letters and forms.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, funding agreements and Council policies.
• Generate reports from Council’s financial systems when required.
• Maintain all Council records.
• Update waiting list on a regular basis.
• Attend staff meetings, internal training courses when required possibly outside hours.
• Participate in Family Day Care promotional events.

The ideal applicant will be a dedicated professional, who is enthusiastic and reliable, have great attention to detail and willing to learn and grow in a well-supported environment.

You will have:

• Demonstrated clerical experience and understanding of basic office and finance systems
• Excellence organisational skills and operational knowledge of Harmony or similar education and care package
• NSW Working with Children Check
• Two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination, with the willingness to comply with additional health requirements (including booster vaccination)
