Assembler
Prepare components for assembly as per engineering drawing/specifications and Bill Of Material (BOM) within set production time
Assemble components as detailed on drawing/specifications
Use mechanical and hand tooling as required to prevent damage
Verify hi-pot readings where required
Apply epoxy as needed
Work with cleaning chemicals during preparation/final stages
Prepare, maintain, and operate bussbar press
Perform wiring of products (must be at ease reading technical and/or electrical drawings)
Take necessary precautions at all times when manipulating product to assure safety of yourself and coworkers
Communicate with other departments
Assure quality requirements are met
Other Assembly tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Safety shoes required, uniform provided
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
· Bending, flattening, and terminating elements.
· Drilling the plugs or flanges.
· Testing the dielectric strength of elements.
· Assembling components.
· Pressure testing components (after they have been welded by our welding department).
· Wiring devices according to specification.

Requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and coordinated manual skill. Work also requires a considerable variety of fairly steady, active physical exertion
*Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal manufacturing plant conditions, safety shoes and uniform will be supplied.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience working with hand tools and/or working in a related assembly manufacturing environment.
