Watpac Hiring for Finance Analyst Job at Brisbane Full Time

BESIX Watpac are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Corporate Services team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will provide meaningful information and insights to the business from gathering, reviewing and interpreting data. This role will also drive improvement opportunities to create efficiencies in existing business reporting.

The key responsibilities of this position will include:

• Develop and maintain Tableau Dashboards for project, business unit and consolidated reporting.
• Utilise data storage and business intelligence tools to provide reporting solutions and analysis across the business.
• Support the extraction and management of data across systems.
• Drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline, simplify and automate business reporting requirements.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting outputs and analysis.
• Develop and maintain group finance presentations, including creating visualisations of data.
• Generate information and insights from data sets and identify trends and patterns.
• Acting as a point of contact for any data queries.

Qualifications

The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline with experience in a relevant analyst role.
• Experience and understanding of Tableau Creator and developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
• Experience and understanding of data warehouses.
• Experience and understanding of database administration tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Broader knowledge of Microsoft technologies e.g. Sharepoint, SQL
• Financial Modelling experience desirable.
