Watertax, Inc. is a full service, customer focused tax and accounting company. Our firm is staffed with CPAs, MBAs and others with extensive banking, financial planning and small business experience.

For small business needs, we offer monthly, quarterly or annual accounting and bookkeeping and payroll services. We also provide business consulting services that include cash flow management, accounts receivable and payable management, fraud prevention strategies, and debt financing strategies.

For individuals we offer tax preparation services and financial planning services. We believe in educating our clients on how life’s changes can impact their personal financial situation.

Accountant / Tax Accountant:

We are looking for part-time candidate (approx. 20-25 hours/week for off-season, and up to 40+ hours/week during tax season). The ideal candidate will be an experienced public accountant and/or CPA, with several years of experience. Also someone who has a flexible schedule and can appreciate the flexibility we offer in return.

This person should have knowledge of general and intermediate accounting/bookkeeping rules. Be able to compile financial information, process journal entries into various accounts, reconcile reports and financial data. Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, statistical packages, and accounting packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.

Also be able to review and prepare tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065) for clients, tax planning purposes, and coordinate tax matters with client’s other advisors.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
