About the role:

Due to internal movements within the Operational Technology team, we are seeking an Advisor – Software to join the Reliability & Technical Systems team, reporting to the Principal – OT Systems Assurance. You will support the corporate automation and control enabling software application suites (such as the corporate software configuration repository MDT AutoSave and the corporate Device Instrument Management System) and the associated environments. You will support the activities, interactions and processes associated with these software suites.

What the role will offer:

• Support the activities and processes for the corporation’s automation & control asset data and assuring the A&C asset data quality.
• Support the corporate A&C asset management and enabling software application suites (such as the corporate software configuration repository MDT AutoSave and the corporate Device Instrument Management System) and the associated environments.
• Provide support and ensure resolution of service requests referred to the corporate A&C asset management and enabling software application suites.
• Daily administration of the MDT AutoSave application, including user access, device creation and reports.
• Support the activities, interactions and processes associated with these software suites.

Key skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience and capability in operating and supporting business and engineering related IT systems, applications and business processes.
• ServiceNow certification, ITIL fundamentals and basic understanding of Microsoft’s .net framework, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes with end users.
• Strong approach to data integrity and maintenance of data quality along with sound experience in documentation and writing of “how to procedures.”
• Extensive experience of working with relevant specialised equipment software or procedures.
• Experience in providing technical support in a large multi-functional engineering organisation.
