Waste Connections Hiring for CAN-Customer Service Representative at Parksville, BC Full Time

Waste Connections of Canada,the leader in non-hazardous solid waste management in North America is looking for a Customer Service Representative/ Reception is to join our team in Parksville, BC.

We are looking for an SAFETY inclined, energetic, autonomous and proactive team player capable of making a difference in his/her team and community.

Responsibilities include:
Manage daily administrative tasks including establishing work priorities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls and assist local customers and residents with their waste collection inquiries

Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

Serve visitors by greeting and assisting them or directing them to the appropriate party

Perform clerical and reception duties including sorting incoming mail, filing, photocopying, faxing, office organization, etc

Assist with the development and implementation of reporting procedures

Place office supply orders

Additional tasks as required

Ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum High school diploma

3-5 years directly related to office administration

Solid knowledge of MS Office Applications

Organizing and coordinating skills

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control

Ability to analyze and solve problems

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
