Warwick Chiropractic and Massage Hiring for Billing Assistant in Chiropractic & Massage Office Full Time

We are hiring an experienced healthcare billing assistant (2 or more years, chiropractic preferred) who is kind, open, communicative, detailed – detailed – detailed, and has a positive attitude. Think: customer service with a smile while getting accounts paid!

You will be responsible for assisting our CFO and billing department in keeping our billing department operating smoothly and efficiently so that doctors, massage therapists, other admin staff, and patients are informed while billing and related follow up is done efficiently and properly.

You will interact with patients, doctors, massage therapists, other admin staff, health insurance company reps, attorneys, and paralegals frequently. You must be a stellar communicator who is clear and concise in person, on the phone, and in written communication.

Multi tasking and juggling many, many things at once are a must, and you will be the type of person who does it with grace and ease. You are exceptionally organized and love being that way!

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Insurance verification
• Working on accounts receivable s and appeals
• Patient statements
• Knowledge of commercial/L&I/PI insurance
• Strong organization and verbal skills
• Ability to multi task
• Strong computer skills/practice management software experience
• Basic ICD-10 and CPT code knowledge
• Able to work as a team and independently
• Assist with overflow patient phone calls when needed
• Experience in chiropractic, or any medical billing experience. Preferably 1~2 years experience.
