Warren Lodge Hotel Hiring for Hotel Receptionist Job at Shepperton, England Full Time

The Warren Lodge Hotel is a 50 bedroomed hotel in a beautiful location directly on the side of the River Thames in Shepperton. The hotel are looking for a Receptionist to join their Reception Team to help provide guests with the best possible customer service.

To work shifts, 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm, 5 days out of 7. Can be asked to work either shift on any day of the week so must be prepared to be flexible in working hours.

General Scope and Purpose: To provide a welcoming and informative service to all customers who enter the hotel

Main Responsibilities·To answer questions and queries personally, by telephone, email and fax. Checking in and checking out of guests, ensuring all information is correct and of a high standard of presentation. Taking and processing of reservations, and ensuring you are fully aware of hotel services and local area information.

Tasks

·To maintain a high standard of presentation and service at the reception area and aid with maximising the hotels efficiency and profit.·

Provide an efficient and prompt telephone service to external and internal customers.

·Take and route messages for guests and management.·Provide an efficient and detailed advanced reservation service.

·Ensuring a good understanding of Revenue Office procedures in order to provide an efficient and detailed advance reservation service as per Revenue Office stipulations

·Provide a welcoming and efficient check in for all guests.

. Serve behind the bar as and when required.

·Posting and balancing of all charges to hotel standards including food and beverage areas.

·Receipt of all departmental pay-ins and the processing of hotel’s banking.

·Provide an efficient and attentive check out service.

·Ensure all accounting standards as given by Finance Department are adhered to including daily banking, covers are posted correctly etc.
