Warped Advisory Ltd Hiring for Senior Finance Assistant Job at Brighton, England Full Time

My client operates a chain of independent coffee shops across the South East and needs someone to cover the incumbent who will be going on maternity leave. A 2 -3 week handover period is envisioned.

The ideal candidate will be used to working in a vibrant and engaging environment. Some remote work be be offered as well.

The applicant needs to have up to date Xero experience , strong reconciliation exposure and a background in hospitality will be advantageous.

Duties:

• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Processing invoices and expense forms
• Review creditors ledger at least once a month
• Preparation of some weekly information for MD
• Assist in making sure merchant services are running smoothly
• Assist Finance Lead with some balance sheet reviews
• Liaising with operational employees as needed
• Support MD and Finance Lead with queries

Skills and experience needed:

• Minimum 1 years experience with XERO
• Proficient excel skills
• Studying towards accounting qualification and knowledge of debits and credits will be preferred but NOT essential
