As an Admissions Coordinator (i.e., Social Service Assistant), you will support the center’s efforts to build census. You will track activities from referral sources, conduct building tours for potential clients and their families, prepare new patient admissions, obtain medical records and pre-authorizations, welcome new residents, complete their admission, and coordinate information with social services to ensure their psychosocial needs are met. You will support the patient’s needs throughout their stay, ensuring their treatment goals are achieved and discharge process successfully completes. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education OR experience in a related field a plus (i.e., Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Medical Admissions, Health Insurance, Discharge Planning, Social Services, and/or Patient Education)
• Must be familiar with Medical Terminology
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computer (Windows, Internet, and Applications/Programs navigation)
