We are a small but essential team who partner with every department at Warner Music Australia and New Zealand, as well as with our artists, their managers, labels and media, to help artists achieve their dreams and connect with audiences globally. We work at a fast pace, but with a high degree of attention to detail. We are a solution-focused team who provides a high level of services to both our internal and external stakeholders.

Here You’ll Get To
provide support to the Legal and Business Affairs Department as well as the wider team across Australia and New Zealand as part of Warner’s in-house Legal and Business Affairs function. In this role, you will be responsible for:
About You
You will have an interest in music and law, especially intellectual property.
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
You will be comfortable with MS Suite (MS Word, MS Excel MS Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, GoogleDocs, GoogleSheets).
You are willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved in growing our artists’ careers and
expanding our business.
You want to work in a fast-paced position that provides a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic company.
You are a self-starter and can learn quickly, exercise good judgment, take initiative and take full ownership of your work.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
A law degree and/or experience in an in-house legal team or law firm.
Contract drafting experience.
Knowledge of basic copyright law and privacy law.
