A little bit about our team:

In our team we deal with the Digital side to Music, this involves working with Warner Music’s labels and affiliates all over the world. Reporting to the Finance Manager and within a team of 10, you’ll play a crucial role in accounting for the international digital revenue flow, supporting the Finance Manager and solving problems relating to our affiliates.

In the Financial Accountant role, within our digital finance team, you will have exposure to all areas of Finance. This role will involve dealing with a multitude of key stakeholders from around the world in different Warner Music offices and across many departments. No month is ever the same!

Here you’ll get to:

• Take ownership of the US intercompany process with support from assistant accountants, maintaining a relationship with our US counterparts.
• Responsibility for key month end processes including Transfer Pricing, Intercompany and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Review and posting of month end journals whilst striving to improve on current processes, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
• Support in the production and subsequent maintenance of periodic month end management packs.
• Work with our in-house project team to enhance our intercompany reconciliation process and schedules.
• Support affiliates with implementation of Transfer Pricing Policy and assist them with ad hoc accounting queries.
• Assist Finance Manager with ad hoc queries and requests including internal and external audit queries.
• Support the development of junior members within the team.

About you:

• Ambitious Qualified ACA/ACCA (preferably from Practice).
• Keen to learn and excited to work in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Love of complex problem solving and working collaboratively to solve issues.
• Can take own initiative and responsibility over your workload, whilst working within the goals of the team.
• Experience coaching/mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have experience with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills.

It would be music to our ears if you also had:

• Knowledge of nominal ledgers and database management systems (eg. Oracle GFS, Business Objects, HFM).
• A passion for music and keen interest in the digital music world.
