Warm Springs Medical Center Hiring for Medical Technologist at Warm Springs, GA Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Technologist – MT provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and departmental and hospital standards of care.

III. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A. Completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist with MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and/or approved to work in the capacity of Medical Technologist by Georgia’s DHR. (AMT, ASCP, AAB)

B. Must be CLIA qualified for high complexity testing.

C. Previous experience in hospital clinical laboratory preferred.

# of hours / week – 3 (12 hour shifts). 36 hours a week.

Pay rate – TBD.

• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Medical Technologist (Required)
