Warehouse Retail- Picking and Packing Job at Fairlawn, OH US Full Time

Signet Jewelers in Fairlawn is ramping up their hiring as stores across the country continue to open.

Currently looking to bring on associates in First Shift and Evening Shift!

This is an entry level position and would be great for those with experience in retail, fast food, cashier and more.You’ll be working in their highly secure distribution center assisting with the preparation of shipping and receiving jewelry from stores across the country.

First Shift hours 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday thru Friday $12.50/HR

Evening Shift Hours 4:00PM-12:30AM Monday thru Friday $13.30/HR

1. Team Members will be responsible processing merchandise through a variety of tasks and will be responsible for achieving production standards within specific departments.
2. Responsible for the daily receiving of all merchandise from stores as well as shipping of packages to our various store, vendor, and business contacts.
3. Sorts and processes the merchandise for movement to various DC locations.
4. The shipping area consolidates and packs packages for all domestic and international shipping leaving the home office. They are also responsible for pickup/delivery of packages throughout the source center.
5. Responsible for the processing of merchandise throughout the DC.
6. Inventory management and cycle counting as seen in Inventory Management, as well as the physical movement of product as seen in Recall, vault and watch room.
7. Process merchandise involving the use of computers for the processing of transfers, RF Guns & carousels – put away and picking, Tran sorters – reverse logistics (recall), Euro sorters – High speed sorting.
8. Complete multiple and varied tasks associated with the processing of merchandise. Processing standards and service levels as well as inventory levels in the department.
9. Ensure quality of product, packaging and transfer movement. Timely and efficient movement of product through the Distribution operation to maintain service levels.
10. SKU verification/inspection and ticketing of merchandise.

Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
