Are you a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist or Resourcing Partner focussed on delivery, seeking a varied inhouse resourcing role working alongside an experienced, passionate, and proud resourcing function?

Due to growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist initially for a 12-month fixed term contract (that may lead to a permanent role). The role is hybrid, working 3 days in the Bolton office and 2 days from home.

The Recipe

We operate a direct resourcing model providing a professional recruitment service to support our manufacturing and distribution sites and our Head Office function. You’ll be working alongside our experienced Resourcing Partners covering senior hires, engineering and management positions. Ensuring the attraction and engagement of quality candidates that support our customer needs. This is a busy operational resourcing delivery role working as part of a high performing Centre of Excellence central team.

Key Accountabilities and Measures
  • Provide professional talent acquisition partnering for vacancies allocated and pipelines of identified, screened and engaged candidates.
  • Primary focus on sourcing, screening and managing to successful conclusion for senior and manager/supervisor hires both within Operations, Head office, Site and Central Engineering roles.
  • Support sites/centre with delivery against their Resource plans ensuring resource for a future proof pipeline of people with the relevant skills, experience and behaviours.
  • Utilising the most effective direct source attraction methods and sourcing strategies.
  • Be an ambassador with candidates and promote our Employer Brand and Employer Value Proposition
  • Act as coach and educator to managers to support a professional, responsive, proactive talent acquisition service
Essential Ingredients

You’ll have substantial recruitment experience from agency, RPO or in-house and ideally within technical, engineering and operational functions. However, we will consider applications from individuals with experience of recruiting corporate/ head office roles.

In addition, you’ll be experienced in:
  • Managing end to end recruitment including, manager briefings, determining route to market, advert writing utilising our EVP, agreeing screening criteria, effective telephone screening, supporting managers with selection activity and keeping the candidate engaged through to onboarding.
  • Demonstrating expertise and best practice professional resourcing.
  • Working as part of a broader HR team and engaging with HR stakeholders.
  • Recruitment / Applicant Tracking systems, ideally Success Factors
  • Significant direct source experience including LinkedIn, Job Boards, use of Social media and branded vacancy advertising, both active and passive candidates. Ideally able to complete candidate mapping via channels such as LinkedIn
  • Employment law and compliance knowledge including GDPR.
  • Diversity & Inclusion and supporting initiatives within resourcing
  • Strong stakeholder management with multiple managers and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Working to SLA’s, KPI’s and targets, i.e. cost and time to hire, and quality/calibre metrics.
