Waracle is looking for a manual software testing professional to be part of our team. You’ll be working with a team of highly skilled coders on an Energy based project.

This position will be remote working or working from any of our UK offices and is open to both permanent and contractor candidates.
Working with a fine eye for detail, our Quality Assurance Team have a passion for software quality from the requirements gathering stage, through to delivery and beyond. Working with clients, you will take part in gathering their requirements, and possess the ability to understand the client’s goals and needs to ensure that the software delivers on the Client’s requirements. Some of the duties involved are:

• Review business/software requirements and provide inputs.
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
• Execute test cases and record results.
• Report defects and assist in their understanding and triage.
• Triage defects in collaboration with development team and client
• Prepare test reports and release documentation.
• Perform demonstrations to clients.
• Participate in all agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience of creating and executing a test strategy and plan.
• Working as part of an Agile Team.
• Testing Mobile and Web applications.
• Writing Test Cases to cover Requirements and Acceptance Criteria.
• Keeping track of testing deadlines across projects to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
• Communication: Enthusiast, advocate, patient, collaborator, influencer, nurturer.
• Exploratory Testing.
