Responsibilities:

• Prospect and identify potential customers within the LTL trucking industry by leveraging various sources such as leads, databases, industry research, and networking.
• Conduct outbound sales visits, calls, and emails to engage with prospects, understand their business needs, and present our services as a solution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, including pricing, promotions, and discounts.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and value of our services.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of the competition.
• Regularly achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and logistics, to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry expertise through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of the LTL trucking industry, including knowledge of industry players, terminology, and market trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence customers effectively.
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to drive results.
• Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide creative solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to customer meetings and industry events, as required.
