Are you looking for a career in financial analysis? Perhaps have recently graduated (or equivalent) with an interest in continuing with a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA)? Ideally with 12 months experience working in finance and business partnered with non-finance stakeholders? As a result of growth, we are currently working in partnership with a World leading entertainment and gaming operator who are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and analytically minded individual to join them as a Finance Analyst within their operations finance department – Based in Central London.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the newly created position of Finance Analyst will act as support to the variable cost control team in providing inputs and running queries to support a variety of accounting related tasks.

Further responsibilities include:

• Reconciling POs against budgets and tracking cost
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Building and maintaining close working relations with key non-finance stakeholders to support and challenge performance
• Support the month-end accounting processes to ensure accurate reporting
• Delivering regular updates and presentations to give a meaningful understanding of the impacting Variable costs, discussing, and challenging the results to drive improvements
• Supporting the planning process to improve the accuracy of budgets / forecasts

Successful applicants will be a 2:1 graduate (or equivalent) in a numerical field, with an interest in continuing with a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA). Ideally you will have between 6-12 months experience in a similar accounts role, with a knowledge of double entry. You will have a problem solving mentality along with strong MS excel skills.

On offer is a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 plus study support (CIMA/ACCA).
