Back-End Software Engineer (JAVA, SQL)

As a Software Engineer III for the Hawkeye – Warehouse Automation Engineering Team, your focus will be developing next-generation business focused distributed microservices consuming millions of events and making real time decision making on how to efficiently control automation. You will work on developing advanced platforms, algorithms, API frameworks as part of the project.

Min Requirements: FOCUS on Bachelors w/ 3-10 years’ experience OR Masters w/ 3-7+

What you’ll bring:

• You’re comfortable working in an Agile environment, both collaboratively and independently.
• You’ve built customizable, reusable, and dynamic frontend components using Java, SQL and NoSQL, Service Oriented architecture, Cassandra, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Scala, Solr, Kafka, MemCache, Big data frameworks – Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Storm. Cloud technologies (GPC, Azure), Open-Source technologies
• Deep experience in working with messaging systems like Kafka, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ or a similar technology.
• Design and develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
• You build meaningful relationships.
• You use your knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and patterns) to create an outstanding user experience.
• You align your work with meeting enterprise-goals.
