We are looking for a talented individual to join our Human Resources function. Located in Docklands and, reporting to SVP HR Solutions, Line Human Resources Logistics Services and the VP Line HR Shipping services, Customer Growth & Corporate Functions. A 12-month fixed-term contract position you will be an integral part of our small team, providing effective support and services to our stakeholders across the Oceania region with a diverse range of tasks.
Job Description:
HR & Payroll
- Managing end to end recruitment process – Sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
- Onboarding and offboarding including exit interviews
- Facilitate payroll activities – Managing AU and NZ payroll report/liaising with our payroll specialist and payroll outsourcing team
- Being a part of global talent acquisition team
- Employee Health & Safety & First Aid – coordinate the EHS & First Aid requirements
- Employee wellbeing and return to work processes
- Assist managers in performance management procedures
- Company Culture & environment – assist with the co-ordination of HR and company events
- Policies – assist with the review and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Maintain HRIS records and compile reports
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
Administration & Co-ordination
- Manage the National MSIC cards administration and payment
- Manage the mobile administration (coordinate technical support, queries, billing issues), and other office equipment’s
- Managing companies’ workers compensation
- Manage the Company fleet administration
- Managing company’s office Lease
- Managing the insurance with local broker for motor vehicles, corporate travel, and fixed assets
- Coordinate Office Security and Access Passes
- Key point of contact for Building Maintenance, Security
Job Requirements:
Your background, experience, and interests include:
- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline and minimum 2 years of local HR experience.
- Excellent time management skills; accustomed to meeting tight deadlines
- Prior experience recruiting for production line & office employees
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with HRIS & ATS- iCIMS experience is a plus
- Desirable experience- Payroll systems; Kronos experience is a plus
- System savvy – able to quickly learn our HR systems
