Job Description:

Wallenius Wilhelmsen are seeking applications for a Permanent Part Time (4 days a week) detail orientated and collaborative Accountant, to join our Oceania finance team, based in Docklands, Melbourne Victoria, reporting to Senior Accountant WWO.

The successful candidate will handle all agency accounting, reconciliation and administrative duties for Armacup Australia operations and reporting responsibilities of Armacup NZ entities. It is imperative the incumbent is a self-motivated team player that has excellent communication skills both verbal and written to adhere to targets and deadlines set out, as well as upholding integrity and ethical standards to the highest order.

• Prepare the Armacup port expenses estimate per port call in the Melbourne, Port Kembla and Brisbane ports
• Prepare the commissions report per voyage
• Prepare the final disbursements report and corresponding analysis against estimates
• Attend to any queries from Armacup NZ in relation to the commissions report and final disbursements
• Handle any customer refunds required in relation to Armacup voyages
• Prepare the manual payment forms and arrange approvals in relation to the commissions per voyage
• Handle the reconciliation of actual freight receipts and invoices/bills sent to customers per voyage
• Reconcile and ensure all port expense are accounted for in the final disbursements payable by Armacup
• Issue port captain fees invoices and other I/C invoices required to facilitate the Armacup related IC transactions
• Coordinate the monthly I/C transactions of Armacup with I/C counterparts
• Handle the update and monthly publication of Armacup NZ entities IFRS16 Leased Assets SAP FC Module
• Handle the complete process of the SAP FC monthly results reporting for Armacup NZ entities including SAP FC I/C reconciliations
• Handle the quarterly forecasting of Armacup NZ entities
• Handle any ad-hoc manual Armacup invoicing required
• Hanlde financial queries in relation to Armacup AU operations

• Minimum of 3 years experience performing similar tasks.
• CPA/CA degree or nearing qualification an advantage.
• Degree in Accounting.
• Advanced excel skills and have working knowledge in using other Microsoft tools and applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint)
• Exposure to Unit4 Financial Systems, SAP Financial Consolidation Tool, Power BI will be an advantage but not essential
