Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tool Room Manager to oversee our operations in Bhosari, Pune. The ideal candidate will have 9 to 15 years of experience in tool management and a graduate degree. This role requires a dedicated male professional to lead our tool room team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Oversee Tool Room Operations**: Manage daily activities, ensuring tools are maintained, repaired, and available for production needs.
2. **Team Management**: Supervise and support tool room staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and adhere to safety protocols.
3. **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of tools and materials.
4. **Process Improvement**: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes related to tooling, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
5. **Budget Management**: Develop and manage budgets for tool room operations, ensuring cost-effective practices are followed.
6. **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify tooling requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
Required Skills and Expectations:
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of machining processes and tool design. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective collaboration with other departments.
