Job Summary:

Responsible for accurate and efficient processing cash items and unidentified deposits to ensure timely and quality output, while adhering to policies and procedures. Well versed in assigned functions, assist in tasks outside normal processes, resolution of issues and communication to leadership and internal partners. May interact with internal/external clients. The role ensures that all tasks are executed in line with banking policies, regulatory requirements, and established service level agreements, while consistently upholding high standards of accuracy, quality, and customer focus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

• Perform functions as assigned that may include tasks that require special approvals, processes that effect clients that are large dollar, tasks that require a tight turnaround with high volume, etc.
• Perform quality checks / inspections to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Research issues and implement appropriate corrective action.
• Complete and maintain with accuracy any documentation for any required logs, dual control tasks, inventory, and forms.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with leadership on topics such as inventory, meeting deadlines, reporting, and escalating potential production or quality issues and recommendations on improvements.
• Cross train on all functions to be able to perform and train others when needed.

Required Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of banking or financial services (freshers with training/certification accepted)
• Ability to work with structured processes, documentation, and SOPs
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality
• Flexible to work in US shifts (night/rotational) based on business requirements.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and updates

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Bachelors degree preferred; relevant banking/operations experience may be considered
• Ability to work in an area governed by production standards and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
• Effective problem identification and resolution skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to work in a team environment to include across shifts and departments.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills as well as good verbal and written communication.
• Three or more years experience and exhibit knowledge in all the departments functions.
