Waldale Manufacturing Hiring for Digital License Plate Printing Operator at Amherst, NS Full Time

We are looking for a qualified candidate to work in the Digital License Plate printing room.

Responsibilities:

· Setting up Thermal Transfer Printers for printing high definition license plates. Loading correct materials (sheeting, ribbons etc.) and selecting proper file configurations for printing.

· Pre-winding rolls on the rewinder to prepare them for printing (straightening and tightening rolls, vacuuming dust from rolls)

· Rewinding and splicing completed rolls on the rewinder to prepare them for blanking.

· Loading orders into the printers system for printing.

· Monitor product as it is printed for quality and errors.

· Handling pallets of material with a pallet jack and forklift.

· Recording printed orders and used materials in Excel.

Experience:

· Manufacturing or printing experience is an asset

Requirements:

· Technician or Technology certification is an asset.

· Attention to detail.

· Computer Experience.

· Demonstrated evidence of successful teamwork.

· Professional and positive approach to communication.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Understand aspects of production.

· Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards.

· Work well under pressure.

· Willing to work overtime as it is required.
