Wake Technical Community College Hiring for Talent Acquisition Consultant at Raleigh, NC Full Time

• Posts positions using the College’s applicant tracking system, researches and posts positions through external job sites and professional organizations

• Screens candidate applications for education, experience, skills, and knowledge to fit position requirements. Makes referrals to hiring manager and ensures efficient turn-around

• Facilitates the hiring process including candidate selection, job offer, background check, reference check, candidate on-boarding details, and salary determination

• Completes onboarding activities for adjunct faculty and full time temporary employees including electronic paperwork process and background checks while maintaining communication with candidates and hiring manager of statuses

• Provides consultation and guidance to hiring managers on the recruitment cycle for annual hires

Initiates and conducts meetings with new hires to sign paperwork and reviews candidate’s eligibility documents to support I-9 completion; completes electronic process for I-9 and E-verify in Onboarding system

Responds to candidate inquiries regarding applicant status and application process through email, walk-in, and phone

Performs data entry of employee records and builds appraisals in the electronic Performance Management system to ensure timely completion of new hire/new position/probationary (performance based) appraisal

Completes an annual applied benchmark project on an individual or group basis
