Wagner Greenhouses Hiring for Receptionist/Customer Service Full Time

The Receptionist/Customer Service position is responsible for clerical and administrative support in order to ensure that the office is running smoothly and in an effective and efficient manner.

· Professionally answers all incoming calls and provides information and assistance to the caller and transfers the call when necessary.

· Greets and assists all visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

· Distributes mail and notifications of freight deliveries.

· Maintains a weekly spreadsheet of plug order information, including reviewing shipping methods, packaging, shipping destinations and forecasts the number of boxes needed for orders.

· Books air freight and ground delivery of live plants, evaluating carrier schedules and selecting routes/flights that will ensure the safest and most economical delivery method.

· Notifies customers of upcoming deliveries; shipping, weather and production delays; and provides delivery and tracking information.

· Maintains multiple databases.

· Assists in proofing orders when necessary.

· Provides backup to customer service and data entry as needed.

· Other core expectations as defined by the supervisor or company.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.25 – $24.80 per hour
