WAE Hiring for UX/UI Designer at Rochester, NY Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

The User Experience Designer (UX Designer) will be responsible for creating web and mobile application interfaces that make doing business with Career Start easier through great design. You will combine your knowledge and passion to create & design flows and experiences that are simple, elegant, and intuitive.

· Study user needs and create targeted scenarios, personas, flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.

· Contribute to overall product aesthetics, from the UX components and color pallets to the typography and illustrations.

· Contribute to design systems, internal documentation and brand style guides.

· Work in an Agile environment with Developers, participating in regular design reviews and development stand-up meetings.

· Identify, articulate and address design and interaction needs and decisions in UX.

· Ensure thorough documentation of design tasks, feedback, design decisions, meetings.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· 2 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design

· Experience contributing to design systems and component libraries in Figma

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative product team

· Experience in information design, with a demonstrated ability to clearly express complex information

· Outgoing personality and team-oriented mentality

· Take initiative, accept responsibility, embrace new projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
