Summary:
This position is to assist our company hire efficiently, and make our hiring process as smooth as possible. Communication will be key in this position. This role will bridge tasks from initial recruitment through an applicant’s hiring. Must have the ability to work autonomously, as well as with our management team, and applicants and new hires. Ideally, this role would also help grow our social media marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the recruiter to post job ads, and assist with the initial screening of applicants. Will use multiple databases to ensure applicants are shuttled through the system properly. Need to be comfortable completing reference and employment verification checks via email and phone communications. Supporting the recruiter and personnel manager with applicant interview coordination. Be a resource for applicants regarding basic overview of company policies and procedures. Have experience with social media platforms and the ability to help create company content.
Location:
This is a remote position that will require frequent face to face meetings in the Denver area.
Time Requirements:
Hourly. 32-40 hours per week. Looking for a consistency of schedule Monday through Friday. Will clock in when working. Team conference calls every Tuesday morning.
Skill requirements:
Ability to work independently and part of a team. Great organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Either experience in recruiting/HR and/or veterinary industry preferred.
