VRS Recruitment Hiring for Health and Safety Manager at Gloucestershire Full Time

The UK food and drink market makes up around 20% of our total annual manufacturing output, worth around £28 billion to the economy every year. An important part of this sector is testing products and production lines to ensure they are safe for consumption.

Our client is an industry-leading scientific organisation who specialise in the food and drink sector. They are currently searching for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team and oversee the Health and Safety onsite.

ing directly to the Associate Director of Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing the health and safety strategy throughout the organisation. You will be providing colleagues with the required training to operate safely in the laboratory, as well as providing guidance to the two Health and Safety Officers with any investigations that occur. Your opinion and expertise will be utilised in senior management meetings, ensuring that any new projects have the safety of the team at their core.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be based at our client’s laboratory in the Cotswolds. You must hold a current NEBOSH/IOSH Certificate.
