Flexible, remote Bookkeeping role

VroomVroomVroom is seeking a reliable and consistent Bookkeeper to join our Finance & Administration team.

We’re looking for a ‘rock’ who loves security, routine and consistency in a positive, no fuss work environment.

The role allows the option to work remotely from home for candidates with appropriate infrastructure (a quiet room with fast internet etc).

You will have the best of both worlds with the ability to work autonomously while still being plugged into our strong established family culture through participation in team meetings, workshops, lunches etc throughout the year.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll and weekly vendor payments
• Monitor and reconcile all bank accounts
• Weekly cashflow reporting
• End of Month reconciliation and journals
• Reporting for management and statutory reporting (eg. BAS)
• Related ad hoc tasks as and when required
• Audit revenue reports received including creating & analysing spreadsheets

Skills & Experience

• Prior bookkeeping experience in a similar role
• A good understanding of general accounting principles
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products
• Experience using Xero (ideal) or similar bookkeeping software
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proactive and positive attitude
• A self starter who can work autonomously
• Previous experience working in the travel or insurance industries (ideal)
